Injection Services
No Appointment Neccessary
Our injection-certified pharmacist is able to administer medications and certain vaccines by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. An appointment is not necessary, but may be beneficial to ensure stock availability. If you have any questions regarding our injection services, our pharmacy team would be happy to answer them.
Our injection services include but are not limited to:

Vitamin B12 injections

Depo-Provera injections

Herpes zoster (shingles) vaccinations

Publicly funded pneumococcal and seasonal influenza vaccines

Travel vaccines including hepatitis A and B and typhoid fever

Note: For medications that are not listed on the Alberta Blue Cross Drug Benefit List, an injection fee of $20 will also be charged to the patient per injection. This list can be searched here:
